Jockum Lundsten Joins Our Team as VTS & GMDSS Lead Instructor | System & Training Specialist

We are pleased to welcome Master Mariner Jockum Lundsten to our team as Lead Instructor for VTS and GMDSS courses as well as System & Training Specialist.

Jockum graduated as a Master Mariner from Novia UAS, Aboa Mare in 2018. He has extensive experience from various cargo vessels, where he worked in different officer positions, as well as from Fintraffic VTS, where he served as a VTS operator for the past six years. In addition to his operational role, he has been actively involved in simulator training and system development, further strengthening his expertise in VTS operations and training.

Jockum is excited to join the team and take on the responsibility of leading VTS training at Aboa Mare. With Aboa Mare’s long-standing tradition in VTS education, he feels honored to continue this important work and contribute to the development of future VTS professionals.

Jockum will participate in the VTS-57 event at IALA HQ in France March 17 to 21. You will have the opportunity to meet him there and discuss possible training opportunities.
