Upon completing this training,
the participant will
- understand the current requirements set by IMO’s regulations and guidelines on cyber risk management onboard ships
- be familiar with threats, threat actors and their objectives
- know how to identify potential cybersecurity incidents
- understand and participate in the management of cyber security strategies and actions within an organization or onboard a ship

Course compliance | IMO’s regulations and guidelines on cyber risk management onboard ships SMS (Safety Management Systems) requirements. The cyber risks must be appropriately addressed in existing safety management systems (as defined in the ISM Code) no later than the first annual verification of the company’s Document of Compliance after 1 Januari 2021 |
