Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations

STCW A-V/1-1-1

3-day basic course for oil and chemical tanker cargo operations. Two days of theoretical training takes place at Aboa Mare in Turku or online and one day of practical firefighting training takes place at Meriturva Maritime Safety Training Centre, Upinniemi, Finland.

The course is intended for officers, ratings and engine crew working on tanker vessels. This course covers the requirements set by STCW and IMO Model Course 1.01.
