Jani Lampiola Has Joined Our Team as Account Manager

Captain Jani Lampiola has been appointed as Aboa Mare’s Account Manager, responsible for overseeing our sales functions, including client and partner relations.

In 1992, Lampiola started his maritime studies at the maritime education and training center, now known as Aboa Mare. He has sailed on various vessels during his career, and his highest position was as master on the Ro-Ro vessels Baltic Excellent and Birka Carrier. He has also worked ashore for some time during his active sailing years – as Manager for Silja Line Cargo Services and as a Sales Manager for Europlaan Engineering. Twenty years ago, he began working as a teacher in maritime education through his own consulting company. In 2020, Lampiola started working as a Maritime Lecturer at Aboa Mare and is now continuing as an Account Manager. He looks forward to the new challenges and responsibilities.

“There is an increasing demand for tailored training due to technological advancements, as well as a growing emphasis on sustainability in shipping, including new fuels and reducing emissions. I’m looking forward to meeting new and existing clients and partners and continuing to deliver training solutions that meet the maritime industry’s needs,” says Lampiola.
