Maritime Fair 2026 is held 29-30 October at Aboa Mare in Turku, Finland. The fair targets professionals within the shipping industry, seafarers, shipping companies, authorities, maritime instuctors and students. During the fair, there will be many opportunities for networking and obtaining the latest information from the maritime industry. The fair is organized by Aboa Mare.

Maritime Fair 2026 Seminars

Maritime Fair 2026 offers two inspiring seminar days focused on the future of the maritime industry.

Day 1, Students & Career Paths, highlights international opportunities, emerging career paths, student engagement, and the many ways young talent can enter and grow within the sector.

Day 2, Industry & Exhibitor Value Day, turns the spotlight on innovation, leadership, sustainability, and current industry challenges, creating a platform for dialogue, insight, and valuable connections across the maritime field.

Transport Connections

Car: There are signs to the harbour (Satama) from the highways. The address for GPS devices is Juhana Herttuan puistokatu 21, Turku
Bus: 500 m from nearest bus stop (Turku Castle).
Bus nr 1 to Harbour goes from Turku Airport via Turku Market Square in the city center.
Train: 1 km from the nearest train station, Turku Port.
Airport: 12 km from Turku Airport (by taxi, you can reach Aboa Mare in 20 minutes)
Ferry: 1 km from Viking Line and Silja Line ferry terminals.

Parking

Limited number of parking spaces for visitors. Please prefer the bus if possible. Parking fees can be paid for at an automated fee collection machine. The parking fee is €1.5/hour or €9/day. You can pay in cash or with the most common payment cards, or you can use Easypark (area 586) or Taskuparkki (area 706) apps.

Skipper Ball at Turku Castle

On Friday, October 30, the traditional Skipper Ball will be held at Turku Castle to conclude the Maritime Fair. Bringing together exhibitors, business partners, colleagues, and alumni, the ball offers a festive evening in a historic setting. It is the perfect opportunity to recognize your staff or invite customers and partners to an unforgettable occasion.

The evening begins with a three-course dinner including drinks, followed by music and dancing to Janne Engblom’s orchestra.
