There are six emergency exits in the premises used by Aboa Mare. The emergency exits are located in the outermost parts of the building. The emergency exits are marked with green escape signs (see picture). In case of emergency evacuation you can hear a male voice make a report in the speakers, in three different languages (Finnish, Swedish and English) and everyone needs to leave the building and meet up at the appointed meeting place outside the building (at the bicycle parking). There are appointed safety officers, who check that everyone has left the building.
There are also several fire extinguishers in wall-mounted lockers, and a defibrillator at the main entrance on 2nd floor.
